straylight run : peach, plum, pear cover

A friend of mine told me there was another cover of Joanna Newsom’s Peach, Plum, Pear floating out in the internets, so I immediately went out and found it. I am not much of a lyricist; however, this song in particular is one of my lyrical favorites (second only to The Kinife – Heartbeats). Straylight Run’s cover of P,P,P is simplistic and sheds a new light on the quirky and perfect original.

    Great find. I love the original so much, but Newsom’s voice is a lot to take. I have to look more into this Straylight Run
